Practice Targets:

Friday 20th April 2012 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday 21st April 2012 - 7:30am to 8:50am

Sunday 22nd April 2012 - 7:30am to 8:50am

Signing-On:
All competitors are required to sign on before practice at this event

Event Start Times:
All competitors are required to attend the official presentation outside the venue clubhouse each day.

Scoring:
Each group will have an independent Official Scorer. Each competitor will have their own score card. It is the sole responsibility of the competitor to ensure their score card is the same as the Official Scorer before any arrows are drawn from the target. Once the score card completed by the Official Scorer has been submitted to Pro Archery officials it is declared final.

Saturday 21st April 2012 - 28 target round based on IFAA Field (4 arrows per target)

Sunday 22nd April 2012 - 20 target round based on IFAA International (3 arrows per target)

Dress and Conduct:
There is no dress code, but we would like to remind you that many hundreds of thousands of people will be watching the video coverage, so please dress and act like a professional. There will be Alternative2TV camera crews on the course. Whilst they will make every effort not to intrude on the shooting please give them time to set up equipment before starting to shoot the target. If you are asked to give an interview please be co-operative. The future growth of the Pro Archery Series will depend upon the continued high quality video coverage produced.

Canada Lake can be found on the outskirts of Creigiau village, a few miles northwest of Cardiff and just a few miles from Junction 34 of the M4. From the A4119 take the main turning towards Creigiau village and almost immediately make a right hand turning onto Pant-y-Gored road. Canada Lake is just a few hundred yards on the right.

Terms:

We reserve the right to refuse entry to future Pro Archery events if any competitor withdraws after 20th March, or fails to attend this event without direct prior communication to us in writing (via email or Facebook).

Competitors refused entry may compete in qualifying events (Q School) to regain an entry in future seasons.

There will be no late entries for this event.

Entries are not transferable.

This event will be filmed by our official media partners Alternative2tv.com. All video footage taken during this event remains the property of European Professional Archery and Alternative2tv.com. Any photographer, journalist or other type of media representative wishing to attend this event must contact us in advance via email info@pro-archery.com for their official media accreditation and instructions.

2012 Pro Archery Series

Events:

There will be three high profile events in the 2012 Pro Archery Series calendar at the same venues as per 2011. In addition we are discussing terms with a number of potential new venues with a view to inclusion in 2013 or beyond.

2012 Pro Archery Series:

2012 Doinker Welsh Masters - Canada Lake - 21/22 April

2012 Cartel Classic - Mullenborn - 16/17 June

2012 Fort van Lier - Belgium - 18/19 August

Other Events:

2012 Pro Archery Q-School - Esch - Luxembourg - 25/26 August
Q-School entries should be submitted online at www.5nations.org

How to Enter:

The Top 60 ranked competitors in the 2011 Pro Archery Series have automatically qualified for 2012. Competitors are then sub-divided based upon prize money won and points scored. Entry invitations are sent out 7 months before each event and competitors have one month to submit their entries.

Those ranked 61 and lower will need to re-qualify at a Q-School event or join the reserve list. Reserve entry invitations are sent out 6 months bef ore each event and competitors have one month to submit their entries.

New competitors will need to qualify at a Q-School event.

The Top 3 places at the 2011 Q-School event (EFAC Portugal) have been awarded guaranteed entries for all 2012 Pro Archery Series events. Congratulations to Martin Spring, Tony Weston and Alex Veldkamp. All other Q- School entrants have been added to the reserve list.

All Pro Archery Series events are limited to a maximum field of 56 competitors.
